Stephen A. King is an alumni of both UCLA and the University of La Verne where he was selected for the honor of joining the school’s law review, but chose instead to focus his attention on serving the Student Bar Association as its President. He did this because he felt it was a better opportunity to give back to the community. Attorney King has always been dedicated to serving the community and has kept these values as he has made the transition from being recognized as a rising star in law school to becoming a universally respected top-notch litigator.
Attorney King initially developed his sterling reputation by focusing on criminal law. He is one of very few attorneys who can claim to have won not only positive results at trial but outright dismissals of nearly every possible criminal charge, including the newsworthy and highly unusual dismissal of a murder case.
After making thousands of successful arguments before judges throughout Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties Attorney King’s stellar reputation precedes him. With nearly 80 jury trials and countless law and motion arguments under his belt he has developed a unique mix of hard-fought experience and youthful energy.
Despite his success, Attorney King’s practice focuses on client service and not racking up high legal bills. From the inception of his firm Attorney King has cherished the notion that to practice law correctly is to practice with integrity and focus on customer service. Attorney King treats every client with respect not just as another new case. He invests personally in each case and fights as if it were his own.
Although Attorney King still handles criminal cases, he has expanded his practice to include other areas where he can further utilize his talents and experience. He now successfully handles cases in the areas of employment law, personal-injury, civil rights, and entertainment law.
Attorney King’s spare time is mostly spent focusing on his faith, family, and basketball game. He is proud to say he is most successful working on the first two. |
